It didn’t take long for one surprise to come out of Abbotsford. Reports last night had offensive lineman Martin Bibla leaving the club Friday. It’s not clear of the circumstances surrounding the departure, but the wording of the rumours suggest Bibla may have quit. The Lions were counting on Bibla to compete for left tackle sport formerly owned by the departed LT Rob Murphy, but that honour will now go to Darren Marquez and Walter Stith.
Lowell Ullrich will have more information in the Sunday Province and he’s got some more roster moves here in his latest Fifth Quarter blog post.
